What's your favourite UK ancient site?

Probably a cornish one since those are mostly the ones I have been to. I would have to say Carn Euny and then Boscawen-un.

I too love the hurlers (and the cheeserings [cheesewrings?] which I always go to at the same time so I think of them as connected).

I know it's not ancient enough to count as ancienty, but I also have a soft spot for menacuddle well near St Austell/Stena, which always feels like it ought to be much older than the late medieval it actually is. I will sift out some pics at some point.

Did you go to Penrice? The standing stone in the school playing fields (the Long Stone) only struck me as a little unusual after I'd left.
